So many times I’ve heard the saying (or was it in a song?) “no man is an island”, yet I have never quite believed it. I think every one of us is definitely an island.
We just build bridges that connect them (us). Bridges being built, bridges being destroyed. Endlessly.
But the islands always remain islands. Most of them changed, influenced, affected.
Remember bridges are man-made, so the bridges we build or destroy are the ones that we choose to.
Some of those islands though, might even stay forever isolated, undisturbed, untouched.
Each island, a different color. Isn’t that the beauty of it all?
